1.Theme:  To positively discover and reward professional quality, entries suitable for professional work,
as well as to vitalize the short film industry and discover new talent (student and individual) of the next generation.
We hope to function as the incubator of the audiovisual industry.

4.Application period: From April 1, 2026 to May 31, 2026.

5.Entry eligibility:
  The general public (You can apply even if you are not a member of Japan Association of Audiovisual Producers, Inc.)

6.Qualification for Entries:
(1) Works that have been produced from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026.
(2) Works within 60 minutes in principle.
(3) The winning video will be used at the screening, so you must have the permission.
(4) Media

7.Entry Categories:
(1) Corporate Communications
Works that aim at outer branding and inner branding etc. of enterprise, and to communicate industry or corporate culture.

d) Sales promotion   e) Product Introduction   f) Event, Exhibition

(2) Social Communications
Works that aim at education, culture, society and/or works that convey this theme throughout society.

(3) Personal Communications
Works that aim at a free assignment made by a group of students and individuals who wants to make a film.

(4) The numbers above indicate last year’s results. This year’s results may differ.

(5) Only the Personal Communication category receives 100,000 yen for the top prize, Governor of Tokyo Award.

9.Judging:
(1) A two-stage judging (Initial review and final review) is scheduled.

(2) Delegated to experts by Japan Association of Audiovisual Producers, Inc.(JAAP) and/or chosen jury by member of JAAP.

10.Judging period:  From July, 2026 to August, 2026.

11.Final result announcement:  mid-September, 2026.(Results posted on our website.)

12.Award ceremony: End of November, 2026 in Tokyo

13.Screening: From November, 2026 to January, 2027. We are planning a screening of prize winners for the general public in Tokyo, Osaka.

14.Entry Procedures:
Entry forms must be filled out and sent together with films/videos to the Eibunren office. The applicants must pay the shipping fee.
(1) Entry eligibility  Please apply by e-mail by May 31, 2026.

(2) Entry fees
  a)25,000 yen per 1 work(The ordinary person)
  b)15,000 yen per 1 work(The member of Japan Association of Audiovisual Producers, Inc.)
  c) 8,000 yen per 1 work(Student, individual producer)

(3) Acceptable entry format: MP4 or MOV( under 2GB) Please contact us if you want to submit in other media formats. PAL are not acceptable.
You can do it on YouTube, but make sure you don’t get ads.

15.Note:
(1) Please arrange the necessary copyright before you participate. We assume no responsibility for any claims or damages relating to copyright infringement.

(2) If the work is in a foreign language, please list the Japanese subtitles or Japanese dubbed version.

(3) The video data will not be used for any other purposes.

(4)The prize winning work will be used in the Eibunren Award promotion and at local screenings in Osaka, Sapporo, etc. Please allow us to keep the media of the prize winning work after judging.

(5)Please note that remote judging may be conducted for the convenience of judging.
